The Power of Divine Choice
There is a divine power that goes with the choice of God and the choice produces results afterward. Down through the years, one of the most difficult subjects to get across to God’s people is living out the life of the chosen. Many believers are not aware that they are the chosen.
I wrote this book, The Power of Divine Choice to let you know that you are the chosen boat on the sea of life. Luke 5:1-3 says “And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret, and saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets. And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s…”When you are chosen there is no mistake, because it’s a divine choice. There is a divine power that goes with the choice of God and the choice produces results afterward. Down through the years, one of the most difficult subjects to get across to God’s people is living out the life of the chosen. Many believers are not aware that they are the chosen. There are divine covenants working with you already as the one who God has chosen. However, there are truths that you need to incorporate into your understanding if you are going to manifest the height of that grace. The mystery of this subject is so important and missing it may lead to a lifetime of slavery. I pray for you that you will fully manifest the power of divine choice in Jesus name.
There is a choice of God upon every saint of God to accomplish some things for the Lord. This choice was before the foundation of the earth. Not only will men account for what they have done in the body of Christ on the last day, but they will also account for what they did with the choice of God over their lives. Ignorance about what God has chosen you for does not mean the choice of the Lord is not upon you; you only need to seek His face to know it because until you do and give yourself to the pursuit of the fulfilment of the choice of God over your life, you will never know your true identity from the Lord. The following truths will help you:
God has chosen you to accomplish something specific for Him (2 Chronicles 29:11):
You are neither a product of biological accident nor was your birth a product of human mistake. You are an original design in the hand of God. God has a purpose for your life. Your parents might even have told you that they made mistake having you, but beloved, God does not make mistakes. God is a deliberate God; He does everything on purpose. Look at the examples of the following people in the Bible:
i. God chose Jeremiah to be a prophet (Jeremiah 1:1-5).
ii. God chose Jerusalem as the city of His habitation.
iii. Saul of Tarsus who later became Apostle Paul was called as a chosen vessel by the Lord to bear the name of the Lord before the Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel (Acts 9:15).
iv. Solomon was chosen to be king among the sons of David (1Chronicles 28: 1-8).
v. Virgin Mary was chosen to carry the pregnancy of the Messiah.
What God has chosen each person for is different (2 Corinthians 10:12)
When two things are different, there is no basis for comparison between them. The kingdom of God is not built upon similarities but differences. What God has chosen individuals to accomplish for Him is different from one individual to the other. Aaron, Miriam and Moses were of the same father, but the choice of God over them was different. Aaron was chosen to be the high priest; Moses was chosen to be the leader and prophet over the nation while Miriam was chosen to be the chief song-minister over the congregation.
Do your best to find out the choice of God over your life and begin to align your life, choices and decisions with it. Do not compare yourself with another person and do not compete with anybody. You are special and unique before God and that uniqueness is connected to the choice of God over your life.
